The 10 Commands of Isa

Learning to Obey Isa

Following Isa is not only about learning information. It is about hearing his words, obeying them, and helping others do the same.

These ten commands are a simple starting pathway for new and growing followers of Isa. They are not a school course to finish and leave behind. They are patterns of life to practise again and again.

These lessons are best started in order, especially for new believers, but they are deeply connected. As you grow, all ten become part of everyday life.

Learn simply. Obey quickly. Pass on what you receive just as quickly. Click each heading below to expand or collapse the sections.

The 10 Commands of Isa
Why these ten commands matter

Isa did not call people merely to admire him or collect religious knowledge. He called people to follow him in obedience.

Why do you call me, "Lord, Lord," and do not do what I say? (Luke 6:46)
Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:20)

These commands help build a simple foundation:

  • Repent.
  • Believe.
  • Be baptised.
  • Pray.
  • Read and obey the Injil.
  • Love.
  • Give.
  • Remember Isa.
  • Share the good news.
  • Help others follow Isa too.

A healthy disciple learns, obeys, and passes on what they receive.

How to use these lessons

Keep the process simple.

  • Read the lesson slowly.
  • Read the Scripture passages carefully.
  • Ask what Allah is teaching you.
  • Obey the part that is clear.
  • Share what you learn with someone else.
Everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. (Matthew 7:24)

The goal is not to finish lessons. The goal is to become a follower of Isa who hears and obeys.
